As part of our ongoing support for the local area and environment, we have been privileged to make another donation to support the Sampford Arundel Parish once again.
On Tuesday 23rd January 2018, Kingfisher’s General Manager, Dave met Mr Derrick Alford, one of the senior trustees for the cheque presentation.
This time, Kingfisher Packaging donated a sum of £150 to boost the needed funds for a new village hall in Sampford Arundel, the current hall having been in existence since World War 2.
The current village hall is a centrepiece of the local community and is frequently used for meeting and local functions. Building a new hall in the village will help to bring even more enthusiasm to the area and will be able to support the growing population. Kingfisher is proud to have played a part in making this vision a reality.
We have received an official letter of Thanks from the Management Committee thanking us for the donation and outlining what the money will be used for.
I am writing on behalf of the Management Committee to offer our sincere thanks for your Company’s very generous donation of £150 to Parish Room Funds, recived via one of our trustees, Mr Derrick Alford, on January 23rd.
We are looking forward to further developments with the new parish hall, and to future opportunities to support local and national charities, to ensure they continue the good work they are doing.
